Alaska Airlines Baggage Allowance

Alaska Airlines allows its passengers one carry-on bag plus one personal item, such as a laptop, purse, or briefcase. The size of the baggage should be small and at least one of them should be stowed under the seat in front of the passenger, and passengers will also need to be able to lift their bag into the overhead bin.

Carry-on Baggage

The carry-on bag must not exceed the size limit of 22” x 14” x 9” or 45 linear inches – include the wheels and handles. Be sure to measure the baggage carefully before you fly.

Checked Baggage

The checked baggage should be fit within the limits of 24”x 15”x 13”- including the wheels and handles. The baggage must not heavier than 50 lbs.

Note- Alaska Airlines may limit the number of baggage per passenger during the peak of the travel season.

Oversize and overweight baggage

The baggage that heavier than 50 lbs or larger than 63 linear inches will consider as oversize or overweight baggage by the airline. The baggage heavier than 100lbs and bigger than 115 linear inches will be not allowed by the airline.
